Workshop 1. “Attention! The doors are closing”



Theatre-in-Education program in cooperation with Kompania Theatre group.

The story of a 15-year-old girl who is pregnant enfolds... The plot is situated in a black district of New York. We see the girl's embryo on the stage, he appears as a rapper dressed in plastic bag sharing his prospects with us.
The father of the embryo is unable to read the health instructions at his workplace therefore gets tragically sick.

The hiding character of the story is the green monster - Environmental Pollution itself, sitting in the corner in silence and waiting for his turn to appear.

The theatre show is divided up into several parts. In the halts between two sections y
oung participants work in small groups, they are involved in drama tasks and discussions. Towards the end of the 3-hour long workhsop they compose a rap song of the grown-up embryo, expressing their feelings and views about the future.



Workshop 2. “Cool stuff?”



We take a closer look at branded clothes that originate from the South. Participants learn about unfavourable characteristics of production chains, sweatshops, and international efforts to better the conditions.

Afterwards they have the chance to make something with their own hands, expressing social messages and identities.



Workshop 3. “The way we live”


Focus on poverty and wealth. How big is the global ecological footprint of mankind? Let's specify the main challenges of the world today and think about ways to solve them. Young people sit in the chair of experts.


Workshop 4. “Travel through the Earth”



The central theme is transport: how people move around, and what consequences does it have? We explore case studies from developing countries.
